![]() There's other parts that are clearly of a different art style and the game makes that contrast look nice too. The faces for sure but his art style seems to have truly inspired a lot of Freedom Planet 2's look. It's been years since I last gave his art a proper look, I don't really actually "follow" any artists, but I see his style in so much of the game. Tyson Tan in particular is an artist that I held in high regard before his partnership with this game was announced. That big reddish stone thing in the background! That building! The little decoration on the railing! The little parts on the shop! The 9+ frames of animation in the idle animations of so many of the people! The multitudes of color palettes blended together to make a unified color palette of the area! I want to do a video walkthrough just going around pointing at things. The oars look like they're shaped like plucked feathers and the brown wood at the front blends into the dock and the tiny background stairs. The blue and white trim of the ship moves like a thin strip of streamer from a pom-pom along the edge before bursting out of the back like a feather. The style of the red sails are like sci-fi copper blades blended to match thick soft-white patterned fabrics along the edge. The player controls one of three anthropomorphic animal protagonists: the dragon girl Lilac, the wildcat Carol, or the basset hound Milla. The ship in front of Shuigang Palace is an absolute beauty. Freedom Planet is a 2014 platform game developed and published by American video game designer Sabrina DiDuro, for her studio GalaxyTrail. There's so many parts that make me wish that I could see the whole background in standstill. I can't wait to get to the credits so I can see the artists who worked on this game. ![]()
